We offer this free for all schools!
With winter coming and you would like us to come and visit your schools or Senior living center.....please call in advance so we can get you scheduled.....this is free so we can share our birds with you!!!

May 29th we will be visiting Swegal elementary school, and bring our feathered friends.

I want to thank the 2 Senior Living centers that invited us to come and visit, our birds had a wonderful time.

July 31, from 3:00 -4:00 will be doing a presentation at the Willamette Humane Society for 32 Children

August 16th, from 12-2:00, We will be at Copper Creek Merchantile, Here in keizer, please come and visit us and our birds....And meet the wonderful people at Copper Creek

June 3rd i will be at Parrish Middle school to help educate a class on the care and needs of exotic birds as pets........9:45 am

May 20th - We took in a Ruby Macaw for show and tell at Clear Lake elementary school
May 3 rd We will be at Petco in Keizer from 12:00 - 2:00

March 15th We will meeting with a big Girls Scout group of 60 kids. 2:30 - 3:30
March 10th. We will be meeting with a 4H group in Rickreal Oregon at 12:30

Feb.2nd 2008 We will be at Petco in Keizer and also every First Saturday of the month. - from 12:00 - 2:00 Please come and visit us and the birds.
On Feb 9th 2008 We will be part of the VOLUNTEER NEEDED at Petco in Keizer join us an alot of other animal rescues
The event is from 12:00 - 5:00 - We will be there from 2-3
October 22 nd, 2007 We will be taken some of our birds to a home school class.
July 20th We are working on bring sight back to a way over 20 year old exbreeder scarlet macaw.She has an appointment with Dr. Kershner to see about her cataracts and what we can do for her.
We will be working with Dr.Hillmer and Dr kershner to make sure she is in great shape and to see if we can get sight for this wonderful bird.
Update on the Scarlet- we will not be having the surgery reason is- the medicine that they use to numb her eye muscles to dialate her eyes would be to hard on her, they would have to breath for her until the meds wore off.so not only is she put under but the numbing medication is also hard on her.
so we have decided not to take a chance and loose her..
Im am not a certified home checker with healthipet network.They are a group of people through out the United states that help rescues with home checks.They are also developing a disaster relief for birds.They are do bird rescues....
We are helping 911 parrot alert with fostering found birds till the owners are found
May 19th, 2007 - We have been invited to do adoption weekend at Petsmart in Salem,Oregon.So this is in the works.......Thanks to Mr. Craig Hill
Friday April 20th - We will be at Meyers Elementary with KC exotic bird foundation, to show and teach the students about birds.The children were great......
Friday May 11 th - we will be at Pringle Elementary with KC exotic bird foundation, to also teach the students about birds
Friday June 8th - We will be at Keizer Elementary school to educate the 4th and 5th grade children on birds.We will be taken in several birds to show over 150 children. Update - we ended up with 2 groups of children totalling 300 children altogether.The children were great.and special thanks to one of our board member Renee for bring in 4 of her birds.
With the school year ending for this year, look for us next year .If you have a school that you would like us to visit please contact us and we will be more then willing to make a visit with our feathered friends.......thanks and have a very safe summer........
